The Macallan 12 year old Fine Oak range is more approachable than many of the heavily sherried Macallans. It has the potential to be embraced by a greater percentage of whisky drinkers..cutting back on the sherry reveals more of the Macallan spirit, which is first-class. Distilled at the Macallan distillery in Speyside, this Single Malt is carefully matured for a minimum of 12 years. The unique combination of Bourbon and Sherry oak casks produces a particularly smooth, delicate and light whisky.
