Tasting Notes

Nose: Clean, fresh, and slightly herbal. Crisp barley, honey, vanilla, musty oak, grass, mustard, cumin, and woodspice. The grassiness is lovely here. Time brings out more caramel and bigger vanilla. This ñOmar Bourbonî is indeed very bourbon-y.

Palate: Medium bodied. Vanilla, hay, grass, cloves, big oak, woodspice, mustard, allspice, white pepper, honey, and barley.

Finish: Medium in length, with good strength and clarity. Herbs, grass, cloves, barley, oak, sandalwood, butter, tea biscuits, anise, white pepper, honey, vanilla, sultanas, and cashews.
