Auchentoshan 32 Years old 1979 This is a staggering single cask Auchentoshan whisky. It was distilled on the 22nd October 1979 and spent 32 full years in a single first-fill Oloroso sherry cask. At natural cask strength, this is a real treat.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Fruity, rich nose with notes of manuka honey and ground almonds. Christmas cake, hints of cinnamon and just a touch of star anise.
Palate: Creamy, vanilla-rich palate with candied peels and ginger. Toasted oak, liquorice and aniseed. Very fruity.
Finish: Plum jam and cinnamon on the tail. Perhaps a touch of pipe tobacco.
